Connacht Colleges G.A.A. General Rules for Competitions 2011/2012
All correspondence for schools will now go out by Email.
All matches will be played on or before fixture date obtainable from our website: www.connachtgaa.ie
In exceptional circumstances matches may have to be postponed. This can only be done by contact with the Connacht GAA Office in Ballyhaunis by emailing new date to reception.connacht@gaa.ie or by phone 094 9630335
Unfulfilled games will be declared null and void one week after final round of league competition.
Results to be notified to office immediately after match by both teams by email to reception.connacht@gaa.ie or by phone to 094 9630335.
Final position in the league/championship will be decided in accordance with rule 6.22(5) T.O. 2009
If home venue is not available for home matches, teams must travel to opponents venue.
All Schools must have a Staff Member in Charge of their Team.
Referees must be paid before the start of all matches, the €40 fee shared by the two schools.schools are responsible for the behaviour of their players, managers and supporters.attention and respect for club property and club personnel where matches are played should be a priority.regarding discipline and playing games as per official guide, except for 1 , 2 year and juvenile where there will be no limit to the number of subs used.
