Connaught Junior 'A' Championship Final
Summerhill 1-14, St Jarleths 2-13

Mr Joe Nearys Junior Gaelic Team lost out on the Connaught Junior 'A' Championship by two points to St Jarleths of Tuam in Claremorris on Monday 11th May.

Playing against a strong breeze in the first half, Summerhill found themselves 11 points down at half time but a strong spirited preformance brought the game back to a one point game but that point proved elusive.

Summerhill could have stolen the game at the death when a goal chance in the last few minutes was well saved by the Jarleths keeper and the resulting kickout was carried down the field for a point the leave two between the sides at the end.
