Summerhill students and staff were delighted to learn that Charlie Harrison has won A GAA Football All- Star for 2010 and got his place on the GPA Team of the year
.
The inspirational Sligo captain won the award on the back of some excellent performances in the league and championship.
Charlie is not only a past student and former teacher in the college but he is actively involved in preparing college teams.
His award is good news for all involved in the GAA in Summerhill College and in Sligo County.
